Who says you can’t have Christmas in July?
Santa took special time away from his summer vacation to drop by my house last week. I took that as a sign that I should take a momentary break to update my followers on current works-in-progress.
Santa’s visit was not the only gift in June/July. Both months were full of surprises and forward progress on so many different projects. (Which is exactly why I have not been posting lately)
WEGE: The main on-going project at the moment is a children’s picture book. I go back and forth between editing the story and illustrating it. I absolutely fell in love with this story and cannot wait for you all to see it!
K.S: So ridiculously happy to report I figured out vital information for the last book of K.S. I hope the last four books write themselves as quickly as the first two did. (The first-draft of first book in series took five days to write!) *No, I did not sleep much.
ToLW: I am still deep in the trenches of editing this YA novel. I wanted to give it a little more attention than I have been able to lately. Hopefully after the picture book is finished, I will be able to dive right back in.
I am prepping for the workshop I will be hosting next month: ‘Networking for Writers’. I will be sharing what I have learned about establishing a professional network of writers, editors and the beta-readers.
Last, but certainly not least; I am also trying to write an amazing ‘Best Woman’s Speech’ for a friends wedding—but that’s a story for another post.
